What follows is bios for the heroes of horror. This will cover every hero from the people who take care of business to the people who end up on the business end of a knife.
WARNING: Spoilers will be abundant for these bios, such as certain character's demises. Read with caution...

 First Appearance:Evil Dead (1981) Fought evil off again in...Evil Dead 2: Dead by Dawn (1987) Army of Darkness (1993) Homestead:Deerborn, Michigan Favorite Weapon:Chainsaw and his Boomstick Enemy of....Evil Ash and the Army of Darkness (Deadites) Was killed off in...N/A Played by:Bruce Campbell History: Listen up you primitive screw heads! Ashley "Ash" J. Williams is undebatable one of the coolest heroes in horror history. He wasn't always the cool, catch phrase slinging bad ass though. He was actually quite the pansy. It all started with a trip to a cabin in the woods. He and his friends (including his girlfriend, Linda) made their way up to the cabin where they were to stay for a relaxing break. The relaxation didn't last long when he comes across a tape recorder, left by the cabin's previous owner, Dr. Knowby, and plays it. As soon as the weird enchantment was spoken over the recorder, the spirits of the woods resurfaces and the deadites rose from their slumber. Things turned to pure Hell for Ash as he watched his friend s and girlfriend get taken by the deadite forces. Those who the deadites didn't outright kill, were took over and Ash was in charge of chopping them to bits. If that wasn't bad enough, they took over his hand. He had know choice but to cut it off at the wrist. He then had to deal with it as it scurried across the floor. Ash had promptly been driven too far off as he equipped himself with a homemade hand chainsaw (replacing his missing hand) and a sawn off shotgun (nicknamed boomstick). With the help of Knowby's daughter, he hunted down the pages of the Necronomicon to send the forces back to where they came from. The spell worked...a little too well, as it sent him back with them. Ash found himself now in the Middle Ages where he had to do battle with the army of darkness once more. This time however, the army of darkness has recruited a doppleganger of Ash to lead them. Ash retrieves the Necronomicon, beats the army of darkness, and defeats Evil Ash. He then is returned back to his own time to do more battle with the deadites (or he slept too long and woke up in the apocalyptic future, whichever version you go by). Enemy of....Freddy Krueger Was killed off in...Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (1987) Played by:Heather Langenkamp History: Nancy Thompson first met Freddy in her dreams as a teenager living on Elm Street in Springwood, Ohio. She watched helplessly as her friends were killed in brutal ways and fought against sleep, knowing that if she slipped it could be her end. She managed to drag Freddy into the real world and using her knowledge of traps was able to stop him temporarily. A few years later, Nancy came back to Springwood to assist in the helping of kids with similar sleeping problems. She teaches the kids about dream powers and soon comes face to face with her nemesis again. This time however she is brought down (lamely I might add) as well as her father (who works to destroy Freddy's body). Despite her demise, Nancy will forever be know as the true pain in Freddy's side. Quote:"Whatever you do, don't fall asleep. " |
